About Warli Art

Warli painting is of tribal art mostly created by the tribal people from the North Sahyadri Range in Maharashtra, India. This range encompasses cities such as Dahanu, Talasari, Jawhar, Palghar, Mokhada, and Vikramgad of Palghar district. This tribal art was originated in Maharashtra, where it is still practiced today.
ওয়ারলি চিত্র একটি আদিবাসী ধারার শিল্পধারা। সোহ্যদ্রি পর্বতের উত্তরের আদিবাসী মানুষেরা এই ধরনের ছবি এঁকে থাকেন। ভারতের মহারাষ্ট্র রাজ্যের এই ধরনের চিত্রশিল্পের প্রথম উদ্ভব হয়। আজও আদিবাসীদের মধ্যে আঁকার প্রচলন আছে। এই ধরনের ছবি মূলত বাড়ির দেয়ালে আঁকা হয়। চালের গুঁড়োকে সাদা রং হিসাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়।।
